Power Platform Developers Weekly - Issue #52

Power Platform Developers Weekly - Issue #52
By Power Maverick • Issue #52 • View online
Welcome to Power Platform Developers Weekly! Today is our first year anniversary. 🎉🥳
Last week was Microsoft Ignite week with many announcements across all the products. The one that caught my eye was announcement during keynote on Microsoft Mesh – a new mixed reality platform; powered by Azure. Another introduction was Power Fx – an open source low code programming language; which is already used in canvas apps. This language will be expanded to other areas of Power Platform. You can find all the session recording in this YouTube playlist. You can also read these announcements in the Book of News.
A super user named Drrickryp on Power Apps user group posted a nice article called Ten Commandments of SharePoint in PowerApps (😆).
Microsoft feature releases and announcements
Power Platform Weekly posted in their last issue about a new site that shows all the connectors organized by use cases; check out the Connector Review website by Heidi Neuhauser.
After the Ignite announcements some of the community folks have written good articles on Power Fx. Please find them below along with the official announcement from Microsoft.
Recently I was running into issues when accessing make.powerapps.com in Chrome’s Incognito mode. If you are running into same issue then read this blog post which will help you fix the issue. TL;DR - enable all cookies.
I hope you enjoy the content of this week and don’t forget to share this newsletter with your friends and colleagues. If you would like to see your blogs or videos featured here then fill out the form provided on this website.
